Here it is.  I bought the canvas and threads at Amy's in Memphis.  Dear patient Kimberly at The Needle  Works spent a great deal of time graphing out the initials and Greek affiliation.  It was finished through The Needle Works and is the biggest hit at college.

I started this candy candy from Carol Dupree today.  I bought some pretty blue ribbon floss at The Needle Works.    I met a cute lady, Noni, who follows the blog, while I was there.  Hi, Noni!

  

Back to the Thanksgiving House

 This was the condition of the roof the last time you saw it:

I settled down to restart it and discovered that I am out of the outline thread.  Boo!Hiss!  I will get some at The Needle Works tomorrow.  In the meantime, I did the sides:

Are you part of the candy cane craze?

I think it must be contagious.   I stitched a couple of these right after Christmas and now I see them everywhere.  Colleen from The Needle Works in Austin, TX,  special ordered a couple for me.  This one is for the school our kids go to.  Our mascot is a Crusader and this is our shout out, "Go Cru".   This is for next year.   The other one was for someone who shall remain nameless at this point.  Had to go back for a touch-up.    Anyway,  if you go  to dianestakingtimeouttoneedlepoint.blogspot.com and/or bootsandbeads.blogspot.com by clicking on the list to the right, you will see that I am not the only one addicted to these cuties.  They both posted Carol Dupree candy canes yesterday.   Below are the ones from my past.  You should get one!

The stitch for the cape has three steps and three threads.  Very luxurious.

I bought this chart in Williamsburg when the Swans visited.  I went a little crazy buying charts, but I do love the look of these samplers.  I will say after working on a counted thread project, needlepoint stitches seem to move like lightning.

I am trying out grass stitches for the hill behind the stone barn.  These are all from Stitch Landscape which is a fabulous book.

I don't think any of these stitches are the right one for this area, but nice to know what they look like.  I will keep trying.  Again, God bless the stitch guide writers.    This is not easy.
