Settled on a background stitch

Donkey of Hearstrings Nativity

I settled on the T-Stitch using Petite Silk Lame.  Not much getting done but this little bit last night.

Remember I started the donkey at The Needle Works on Wednesday?  Did some more stitching on the donkey's behind.  I also stitched the star using Cindy Howland's star diagram.   I also tried a laid filling stitch for the background.  Love the stitch but not sure it's the one for this group.

Very little production for a lot of effort

I went to The Needle Works today to meet the Swans.  I bumbled around for awhile putting canvases on stretcher bars.  When I was ready to stitch, I realized that I had left the threads and stitch guides at home.  I wandered around the store looking for something to buy.  After lunch, I decided to buy some Burmilana and start the encroaching gobelin on this donkey's behind.

I spent a little time with this cutie but gave up early to get in bed to be warm.  Hope tomorrow is more productive!

Uh-oh

I think there may be an inverse relationship to projects completed and weight lost.  Remember in 2013 it was going to be 13 completed canvases and 13 lbs. lost?  I have 12 projects finished and 1.5lbs lost.
