The Birdhouses from Ewe and Eye was pulled out.  I stitched the red part using barn stitch #17 from Stitch Ins & Outs/Interiors and Exteriors Plus.  I love those little books.

One Tree at a Time

 I used one strand of Designer's Dream for the long crosses and two strands of floss for the small cross stitches.  The jury is still out on this one.

Overview

I stitched the tree and spent the rest of my weekend stitching time basketweaving the background of the sampler band.  I used three strands of black Splendor.

What's Your Needlepoint Set-up???

I went to my SWAN birthday party!   It was fabulous with good company, good food and stitching.  We got to see D's new set-up.  WOW!
