 I satin stitched the bats following the paint.  A cross stitch at the centers of the bats.

Sticky Bead Mat

 Marguerite talked me in to trying this sticky bead mat.  I love it.  I don't think I would place it on painted canvas.  The beads did not fall off when I flipped over to tie off.  Great!  Only $3.40 at The Needle Works.

My Painted Pony Halloween angel

 I can't get this pic to turn to save my life.  I went to The Needle Works and got the silk I needed.  As you can see it's not an exact match but close enough.   Basketweaving the strip with alternating pumpkins and crows.  I did a Pavilion stitch in the black area of the dress but you can't see it.  Supposed to rain all day tomorrow so lots of stitching.

My stash didn't include the right shade of turquoise for the Halloween angel so I pulled this girl out.

Face in 3 strands of silk and hair in 4 strands of floss

 Stitched the border in reverse scotch using 1/16 Kreinik and Neon Rays.

Lower border

Black single line is stitched using size 8 Kreinik in the herringbone stitch over one.  The gray is 3 strands of floss in cross stitches over two.  She's pretty cute.

Treat for me!  I waited until Halloween when the sale discount was the highest and scored these two cuties from Amy's Golden Strand in Memphis, TN.  Let the stitching begin.
