I stitched! I really did!

I wish I could show you but it is my Secret Swan ornament.  You remember our tradition of drawing names and secretly stitching all year on an ornament for the SWAN's name you drew?  And the big reveal at our annual Christmas party.  What fun that is!  These are just a few of the ornaments from the past.  Treasures for sure!

Happy Fourth of July!

July Fourth Angel from Shelly Tribbey

Long may she wave over the land of the free and the home of the brave!  Happy Fourth of July!

A small finish

Bee Box for treasures

Done!  I added the brown bunny and spinning pink heart on the bottom.  Off to the finisher!  The minute I finished that I got in bed with Prince Charming.  I removed his face color.  He looked as if he might be ill at any moment.  Much fresher looking now.

Prince Charming from Petei

Sweet Bee Box

Lots of stitching at the beach allowed me to make some serious progress on my little box for momma.

I added the bunny and flower to the bottom for a sweet surprise.  I might even finish tonight.

From Carolyn Baird

I got the diagrams for the bunny and flower from Carolyn's Merry Easter Eggs book.  It is a wonderful resource.

My kind of binging

I went to Joann's for some DMC but went ribbon binging instead.  All of these were a buck a piece except the plaid on the end.  That was 50% off.  I can't wait to see where this will all end up.

I see possibilities already!

New stuff for Steph

Cute canvas from Susan Roberts

Kitted up

I bought this at Chaparral this past spring.  I am going to try the Pepper Pot Silk.  This is for Mom...shhh.

Thursday

Where I started

Where I ended

After storming City Hall Thursday morning, I settled in for some cross stitching on my Village of Hawk Run Hollow by Carriage House Samplings.  Almost finished with block 6 of 12.
