How she looks today |
I waiting on the green thread to do the stripes in the wallpaer. Thinking about the hair...
First of all, your tennis player is amazing! I know, from experience, you are enjoying that boy! Sons and Mamas, it really special! Now, to something else special, BR! You are doing a fabulous job on her! Every stitch is beautiful and your shading is masterful! I do love those stars! You are very close to finishing her up. I can't wait to see!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I do love watching my boy play tennis. Yes, Betsy is coming along. I wish I could get that dang green thread. I will be purchasing it at Amy's as soon as I get there on Thursday!!! How goes the stocking?
DeleteI am bearing down on the stocking and hope to have it finished by end of February! I am being boring and just concentrating there. I may post. Picture or two on FB. Have a fabo time at Amy's!
DeleteBetsy is looking fabulous. Maybe we could give her a middle name? Maybe Diane? Then she could be a "Supreme" Betsy? Even though I know she was Diana
ReplyDeleteSupreme Diana Betsy Ross? Like the year my daughter wanted to be Princess Barbie Jasmine for Halloween.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the recap. Sometime would love to see the way the Howland stars are done.
ReplyDeleteI will post it on Monday and see if you can see the number to follow. It does look good.
DeleteYou are a master stitcher that is for sure. I love this! I'm going into my shop to stitch this afternoon and it is taking everything I have to to not ask her to order this for me. ha ha I HAVE to work on what I already have.

I just gave in. I had been wanting her for a long time. I had a 20% off coupon and a gift certificate so I took the plunge. I am so glad I did!
DeleteBeen following your stitching for awhile and admiring and appreciating the great close-up photography. Now following officially. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThanks for following the blog. I use my IPhone to take all the pictures and I am amazed at how well some of them turn out.
DeleteHi Steph,
ReplyDeleteI have been missing Betsy so glad you brought her out. She is just beautiful.
Linda
Trying to catch up tonight with all that I've missed recently. Betsy is looking good. Can't wait to see her hanging in your office. ;-)
ReplyDeleteSome day...
