The Village Scene from Ewe and Eye

I finished the grass on the right side using three strands of overdyed cotton.

Giant Brick stitch
 I started the other side after tearing out all that Burmilana.  I made a mistake as you can see below.

Skipped a stitch


And I had gotten this far
I stopped.  I had a bowl of ice cream.  I am now fortified and back to it.

    I absolutely HATE when that happens! If it makes you feel any better I cut a Santa beard out last night. I hope the ice cream was delicious!

      It's a bummer. And, yes, the ice cream was delish! Got the grass finished.

    I LOVE seeing your posts where you've skipped a stitch or ripped something out because you didn't like it. They give me permission to say "well, if this happens to a stitcher as proficient as Stephanie, then perhaps I am not completely hopeless".

      I try not to be a ripper, but my stomach gets all knotty and I get anxious until the badness is gone! Crazy! Thanks for the compliments.
