Boring blog...

After spending millions of dollars on different threads and hundreds of hours trying different stitches, I decided to basketweave the background with DMC floss.  The stitches on the figures stand out and the background goes quickly.  All the figures below are ready for the background.  Lots of basketweaving to get done before the deadline for Christmas finishing this year.

Shepherd

Mary

Red Magi

Gree Magi

Joseph

Blue Magi

Still to do:

  4. absolutely gorgeous; thanx for sharing! must backtrack your posts to see who the artist is. I have a Petei set and aren't planning on doing another but this would definitely be a contender!

    1. This Heartstrings by Pat Thode. They come with a stitch guide! I have done the Petei as well plus a Rebecca Wood set and a Mile High set. I have a Kelly Clark set and a Quail Run set in the works! I love Nativity sets...
