It's done. It's really done!

I spent Sunday afternoon and lunch break on Monday finishing this.  Can you believe it's really done?  I can't!  Off to the finishers.

It may have been a slightly old picture - but just in case - in the picture of the elf (just below the tree pic) he has a small unstitched area of leg. Grab him back and fill him in!!! Gorgeous work - so much detail.

  6. Hi Steph,
Fabulous stocking. You are really stitching up a storm. Cannot wait to see the stocking hanging up for Christmas.
Looking forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks.

    1. Thanks! I have been stitching up a storm. Nothing like a couple of big finishes to get those needles flying!

    1. Thanks! Amy and Rebecca deserve so much credit. It was so fun to stitch even if I did take 2yrs to do it!

  8. Brava, Stephanie! It's been fun watching the progression! I just love
the Antlers of Memory thread. Totes Adorbs! as my 12 yr. old daughter,
Grace would say! If it took you 2 years, I would never even begin to
attempt a stocking! I did Applique-work for out first set, and hung little needlepoint ornaments with their initials on them from a big button, and Wool Felt Applique for our 2nd set!(I LOVE Stockings!)
    Congrats!

  14. Thank you, one and all. It was actually three years in the making. OOPS! One of the many downsides of menopause, memory failure. I hope my girl has been good so we can fill this up. xoxo Steph

  15. Can I ask what the name of the blue stitch? The sky part?

    1. I don't remember. It looks like a Milanese variation. I know it's silk and Kreinik for the threads.
