My needlepoint mojo is firing on all cylinders. I finished the gold stripes and was pondering using the knotted stitch in three rows for the white/red/white stripe. Too bulky. I turned the canvas 1/4 clockwise and used the knotted stitch. I used four strands of floss for the white and three strands of silk for the cross. I threaded two needles and completed the red cross with every long white stitch. Beats three rows of tent stitching.
Absolutely fabulous! I am going to remember that one.
