SWAN Christmas Party 2012

The biggest bestest baddest party of the year was yesterday.  We were treated to the beautiful new home of our fellow Swan.  It is just gorgeous.
Beautiful vignettes everywhere

The most clever idea for her collection of Nutcrackers.  She put them on a Lazy Susan with nuts.

Isn't this wonderful?

After our delicious lunch, we had the gift exchange.

  2. Thank you for sharing the photos. I have to say that the Christmas Garden piece (which looks like it was cross stitch) was a piece that just jumped out at me. Any chance you might be able to track down info on that piece for me?

    1. Yes, I can ask the stitcher. Most of us cross-stitch as well as needlepoint.

    1. I stitched the bell-shaped Woodland Santa by Melissa Shirley for Donna. And my wonderful ornament stitched by Stacy is the three dimensional Nativity. I love it! Merry Christmas, y'all!

  7. What a wonderful group! I need one here so that I can get some of my own stitching done. I miss it but I love having the store! I have met so many wonderful people and it teaches me something new every day from stitching lessons to life lessons. Merry Christmas to all you SWANS!

  10. What beautiful ornaments and talented stitchers! You are so fortunate to have such a large group of stitching friends. Do you draw names and then stitch a special ornament for that person or do you bring a stitched ornament and everyone gets to choose one? Sounds like so much fun and everyone goes home with a special ornament. Merry Christmas, Stephanie!!
