Here's what you can accomplish in an evening without tennis. Flair or stranded silk for the accent stitch? Or ribbon floss? I will work on that tomorrow.
What I tried to do when our youngest started driving was to stitch when I would have been driving him. It didn't quite work out that way but it was a good thought!
And then they move on, and it's lonely. Now I have too much time to stitch. I miss all the tennis, dance, and ice skating. I think something with a little sparkle for the accent stitch would be nice.
The tennis player still lives here, but no more driving for three hours every day. What a difference that makes! Silver is being polished, clothes are getting washed in a timely fashion. And a little bit more stitching!
Looks great! Remember, all too soon the tennis will have moved on. You can stitch anytime!
ReplyDeleteAll too soon. Although I do like the extra time to stitch!

DeleteIf I were to choose I'd say Flair for texture but there's also the possibility of Kreinik. There's a gorgeous gold from ThreadworX Kreinik that I love
ReplyDeleteTune in tomorrow for the reveal, Cracker Queen!
DeleteWhat thread did you use for the red? It looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSplendor. You like?
DeleteIts hard to beat Splendor!
