I finished the roof.  I am stitching offset horizontal cashmere stitches for the body of the house using three strands of floss.  Pretty cute!

Block Four of the Village of Hawk Run Hollow by Carriage House Sampling

Here's where we left off

Building the fence

Cute table for Swan St Paddy's Day lunch

Last slat!

The chart has doggies peeping over the fence but they look like dinosaurs to me.  I may leave them out.

Roof on Kelly Clark Welcome Sampler

Almost done
I am stitching the roof following the painting.  The dark gray lines are stitched using three strands of Uniform Blue by Sampler Threads.  It's the perfect shade of blue grey green for the paint.  The light gray is another Sampler Thread called Banker's Grey.  The chimney stacks are done in alternating mosaic and cashmere.  I hope there is plenty of stitching time today to finish the roof and move on to the house.

Block Four of Village of Hawk Run Hollow by Carriage House Samplings

I'm a cross stitcher too.  I am stitching this on 28ct linen using two strands of DMC floss.  It is a big'n!  My husband asked if it was our new bedspread!?
