House #5 of Halloween House Row

This is another cutie from the mind of Amy Bunger.  I love the roof.  It's a Fern Stitch variation using three strands of silk.

Halloween House Row House #2

I am still stitching on Melissa Shirley's Halloween House Row using the stitch guide from Amy Bunger.  This is a fun one to stitch.  The glass on the front door is satin stitched with two strands of Accentuate.  The window glass is stitched using one strand of Accentuate.  Easy way to get the glass window effect and not cover up the ghosts.

Manic Pandemic Stitching

I have been jumping around on projects.  Here's a bit of what I have stitched over the last few days.

His Eye is on the Sparrow by Heartstrings Samplery

The Hart Hunt by Diane Ulmer Pedersen from Painted Pony Needlepoint

I am so close to finishing this. I stitched the bushes.  The first layer is stitched using one strand of silk in the Oblique Elongated Ray stitch.  The branches are stitched on top with one strand of Burmilana using the Feather Stitch.   The edges are French Knots.  I am using a stitch guide from Amy Bunger.

Bushes are stitched

And then for some reason I pulled this out.  It's the Halloween Village with a stitch guide from Amy Bunger.   It is super fun and easy to stitch.  The sky is Alternating Stones using one strand of silk.  You can see it down the left side.

Back to It Soon!

I know I got off track.  I put aside Early Morning Townhouses because I received some threads I had ordered for this monster.  I stitched away for days on this.   I have now run out of some colors again.  Back to needlepoint today.  Look for a post tomorrow!

Pandemic Project - Day 6

Good morning! I stitched the steps in contrasting colors of overdyed floss.  Reverse elongated continental for the steps edge.  It's the vertical satin stitch for the rising part of the steps.  I also stitched the railing using size 8 Kreinik in the Trame stitch.

Pandemic Project - Day 5

Good morning!  I stitched the gates using Kreinik size 8 metallic in the Trame stitch.  The cross bars are done in cross stitch using the same thread.  Happy Stitching!
