More on the Chi O heart

I like my selection for the accent stitch.  Six strands of silk.

I tried the velour at the top.  It seemed very heavy.

I think this might work.

Hearts

Here is how it started

Painted Pony Chi O Heart
Here's what you can accomplish in an evening without tennis.  Flair or stranded silk for the accent stitch?  Or ribbon floss?  I will work on that tomorrow.

Sunday was good for Sunday Meeting

I got to stitch for about six hours on Sunday.  Boy, you can make a lot of progress with that amount of time channeling Melinda at melindaslivingthegoodlife.blogspot.com.  She seems to stick to two or three projects until completion.

I stitched the church steeple which you can't really see.  It was the double stitch with Kreinik and silk.

I got the front door of the church done in it's entirety.  Looks good.

In perspective

And I got the field started behind the barn.  Some other little bits and bobs were stitched here and there. Of course, about 10pm, I reverted to myself and started something new instead of going to bed.

I put it on stretcher bars and stitched the symbols.  Then I went to bed.  Happy Stitching!

The Needle Works

Home Base
The Swans do travel around, but The Needle Works is our home base.  Colleen has built a beautiful store that is stuffed with all kinds of needlepoint goodness.  Here a few things I have bought at The Needle Works and stitched with their help.

I did not stitch this, but it is available at the store

Same goes here
