I'm a cross stitcher too.  I am stitching this on 28ct linen using two strands of DMC floss.  It is a big'n!  My husband asked if it was our new bedspread!?

We won at City Hall!  After nine grueling months, the city council voted 9-2 to phase short-term rental type 2s, mini-hotels out of residential zones!  Woohoo!  I am itching to be stitching.  What shall I stitch on after I get through that mountain of ironing?

I tried several stitches on the house and didn't like any of them.  I am stitching the background in Woven Plait using two strands of Mandarin Floss.  I like it.

On to Number Two

I hope this will be finish number two for 2016 as of tomorrow! I finished the wings and the lettering yesterday.   Looks like I am down to the beading of the UA and little red star.  I hope the white star-shaped sequins I have will fit over the white stars at the bottom.
