Pandemic Project - Day 2

This cute house on the right of the canvas is stitched using the perfect color of overdyed cotton.  The stitch guide from Amy Bunger calls for using two strands for the slanted gobelin stitch.

Pandemic Project - Townhouse Row by Diane Ulmer Pedersen from Painted Pony Needlepoint Designs

I bought this canvas by Diane Ulmer Pedersen from Painted Pony Needlepoint Designs at a trunk show that The Needle Works had.  I had been wanting it forever and decided to buy it for my Mother's Day present to me.  I ordered the stitch guide and threads from Amy Bunger at amybunger.com and had it all packed and ready to present to myself on the big day.

Change of plans.  The pandemic came and I thought to help in the teeny tiniest way by blogging again to distract us all from our worries.  I've been stitching away on my giant cross stitch sampler but somehow that is not so interesting to post.  Anyway, here we go:

What's on the 20 in 2020 List

My problem is I  start everything I buy.  I do finish stuff but not as quickly and efficiently as I would like.  What's a needlepointer to do?

This is adorable canvas is almost done.  I have to stitch the bushes and the bottom panel of grass.

  I can't say how long I have had this Ewe and Eye piece.  I really can't remember.  I just love it and like all the others languishing in the closet,  I still want to finish it.

Are You Playing 20 in 20?

I am!  Finish 20 projects in 2020.  I am currently stitching away on this monster.  It takes a yard of linen.  No kidding.  The linen is 36" by 54".  I am going to count each page of the chart that I finish as one project towards my goal of completing 20 in 20.  Sound good?
