Best Party of the Year!

The annual SWAN Christmas party is the best party of the year.  We get together, have lunch and exchange ornaments.  We draw names and secretly stitch on these ornaments throughout the year.

I look forward to it all year long!

I finished this fine fellow Sunday afternoon.  Prince Charming given to me by my traveling bud, EH.  I stitched him up using The French Knot's stitch guide except for the background stitch which is my selection.

I am still feeling puny so I spent the afternoon on the roof between dozes.  Cross stitching is slow going, isn't it?  Still I love it and look forward to the day when this piece is finished!
