Not much stitching, but lots of new stuff

Monday was a bad day until I drove up to my house.  It changed the whole day when I pulled up and saw a white box sticking up out of my mailbox.  Look what was inside:

Gorgeous fellow
This is the third wiseman from the series created by Kelly Clark.  The stitch guide is by Amy Bunger.  The stitching will be done by me.  Soon!  Also included in the Happy Box was:

Lesson 4
This is the fourth kit for Melissa Shirley's Thanksgiving House.  I finished lesson one and am bumbling my way through 2 and 3.  Four looks just as wonderful.

 Tuesday
Bought ribbon at Joann's for this ornament

Liner fabric for my daughter's stocking.
It is now 9pm on Tuesday and this worn out old woman is going to bed!  Sweet dreams!

  2. Those white boxes do have magical powers, don't they!? So you are stitching the Nativity now! You didn't start it when it was new? I have thought about that because I love it so much. That Thanksgiving House is going to be a masterpiece. I love love the stocking liner!

    1. Yes, they do! I started the Nativity about a year ago, I think. I can't remember everything anymore. I do love it. Thank you for all the kind words.

    1. Brighten my whole life! We had a close call in the car and were all rattled when we pulled in. I saw that Amy box and snapped out of it right then. My husband had to go run 20 miles or something to calm down. If only he would needlepoint.

  4. Hi Steph,
A box from Amy will help brighten any day. This Magi is my favorite. I had a lot of fun stitching him.
Your fabric for the stocking is perfect.

    1. Thank you, my dear. I can't wait to see you. Checking the weather daily to get the wardrobe just right. Hope I don't forget the canvas!

  5. OK. Stephanie...I have finally lost it. Clicked on your blog, am scrolling, see the words...then picture comes up , and I think to myself,
"Hum...That canvas looks so familiar. I wonder why?"...scroll more
then the pic with the canvas and threads comes up, "Really, familiar?"
Then it hits me! DU-uh? "It's one of mine." So I am hungry, and need
food, forgot my meds today and already painted two new designs...
So I guess that explains it...OR it's Senility, already!
    HAVE Fun stitching him!

    1. I'm with you, sister. My little moments are caused by the menopause in my body. Those hot flashes are cooking my brain! I love your nativity and what Amy did with it makes it even better. Can't wait to see what's next from you!
