Joseph from Heartstrings Nativity




I like the stitch for his headdress, but something about it is bothering me.  Too shiny?  Wrong color?

I stitched the staff using the Knotted Stitch in two strands of Burmilana.

    I think it all looks awesome. A little tamer than the stitch guide calls for. If forced to comment on your concern - I'd say that the stitch used is larger in proportion to the other stitches. Maybe a smaller stitch?
