Just a little bit more about Chaparral in Houston. I got this beaded trim which I am going to have the finisher wrap around some gold Kreinik for the cording. Luscious, right?

And Glinda herself. Carolyn is so fast. I think I have all of the stitches and most of the threads selected for her. Now just need to get to it.

Stitch for her dress |
And sweetest of all, Carolyn gave everyone there this cute little swan in honor of our visit. You could keep needles or orts in it. I choose to put my allotment of M&M's in there.

Did I mention that I got two more chapters for my Amy cookbook?

The whole thing sounds fabulous! I have just 1 question, how do you allot M&M's?
ReplyDeleteIt is with great difficulty and many failed attempts that I try to to control my M&M intake!
DeleteMy allotment of M&M's is never the same. Every day there is a reason for more. Like now sitting in the Dentist chair waiting for him to walk in. A whole bag kind of day.
ReplyDeleteI hear you, sister. Spent a whole lot of money on a new crown recently. Yuck!
DeleteBeen away for a few weeks and just now catching up on my blogs. What an awesome trip you must have had to Chaparrel!! I think I need to move to Texas (for lots of reasons :). Love the way your heart turned out and Glinda is a beautiful canvas.
ReplyDeleteI finished the stitching on my J'taime heart and need to do the beading now. Might be a while before I get to the next one as I have the new Tudor canvas coming soon. (not even close to finishing my house but......couldn't resist).
I completely understand.
Deleteokay missy....I love the beading trim for the heart and can't wait to see it finished.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it fabulous? I got some green trim as well.
