I got to spend about 24 hours out at the lake with the SWANs. It was a short break from the remodel. I took the Hart Hunt from Diane Ulmer Pedersen by Painted Pony Needlepoint Designs. The stitch guide is by Amy Bunger from Amy's Golden Strand. I got two fields done since we do nothing but eat, stitch and sleep. And visit the whole time we are awake. It is so much fun. I had to leave early to remortar my new fireplace but it turned out really well so all is good.

Glad you got to take a break. Was this a birthday celebration? Call me when you are settled and have time for lunch. And by the way, I love this piece!
ReplyDeleteNo, just a needlepoint getaway. I went to Dallas for 24 hours for my birthday. I got to celebrate with my whole family! Pencil me in for June! Thanks!
DeleteWhat a beautiful design. I haven't done needlepoint for years but find myself interested in taking it up again. It has something to do with finding two completed canvases in a trunk. I finished them forty (yes, 40!) years ago and then forgot about them!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I hope it inspires you to pick up needlepoint again.
