Swan ornaments

This is my Swan ornament that I received from my fellow Swan, Stacy.  It could not be any more perfect for me and I want you all to see every inch of it.

Holy Family view

Wisemen

Shepherds

Donkey and shepherd

Even the bottom is stitched

And the roof
I have posted the ones from years gone by, but thought you might want to see them again because they are all gorgeous.

Another nativity made for me a long time ago by a little boy

  1. Love them all, especially the boy-made Nativity and the United Methodist symbol. Did you draw that one up yourself?

    1. Thanks. I treasure the little clay one. The Methodist one was purchased, but I am not sure where. Merry Christmas!

  2. A lovely visual Christmas present! Very inspirational-makes me want to break out the needle and stitch instead of work on the list of to-do's marked for today! Love them all- the little red pouch with the gold and green is a real standout- along with, well all of them! Merry Christmas.

    1. Thank you. That is a Shelly Tribbey. Lisa did that for me and I believe it was the first one I received when we started the exchange. I love it!

  4. Oh my....I remember so many of these coming through the shop...all whispers if the receiver was in the shop...a lot of hiding behind a thread display to discuss a stitch here...a thread there. Good memories. Thank you for posting all. Merry Christmas to you!

  5. There is an entire needlepoint master class embodied in this post. Wonderful ornaments, beautifully stitched! Thanks for photographing and posting them.

    1. Thank you, ladies. Each one of us stitches the ornament and has it finished by the finisher of their choice. It is the most fun.

  7. Steph, I'm so behind in visiting. Just no time to sit at the compute. I'm taking a few moments this morning with coffee to stop in and say hi. Love seeing all these darling ornaments. Do you know who designed the square one with Santa and the animals? I have to stitch this one. ;-)
Merry, Merry to all of you..........Love ~ Sarah

  8. Hi Steph--Any chance you could find out the name of the designer of the ornament you received this year? I love that nativity--it's so very different from any others I've seen.

    Thanks,

    Carol S.

    1. The designer is Susan Roberts. She has several 3-D houses that are adorable.
