Glinda the Good Witch




On Saturday I finished the sky and messed around with the buildings of the Emerald City.  Not a fan of either one.


Sunday I spent my time trying to finish the skirt.  Wouldn't you know I ran out of thread!  I hope the dye lots match.

    I'll bet your thread for the skirt will work out, especially since it is overdyed. I think your sky and the buildings look great! Sometimes I think we are too critical of our own work.

    I think you are doing great with all your choices. Those busy and exaggerated canvases take an artist's eye to do right with them, and you certainly have that. I'm waiting to see how you stitch the crown.
