Goodbye to Christmas 2015 and Hello 2016

It's time to pack it all up.  This is early for us but we are putting our house on the market some day soon.  I personally think that a tree full of needlepoint ornaments would help it sell!  I will look forward to seeing them all next year.

What is left to pack up

Santa by Mile High?  that I stitched MANY years ago

Ribbon binging again at Tuesday morning

Stitching away on this heart from Painted Pony

Brilliant background stitch from Amy Bunger
This is Serendipity using a shiny ribbon floss alternating with a matte thread.  I love it.  Thank you, Amy!  I took this to our visit in October of 2015.  I can hardly wait until October of 2016.

Stitching her wings
Another Christmas gift that didn't get finished since I was fighting City Hall.  I am stitching her wings using size 4 Kreinik in the alternating continental stitch.  I hope it will be ready to gift in 2016.

Very Precious Gift

I received this beautiful ornament from ELH, my fellow SWAN, at the SWAN Christmas party this year.  I could not love it more.  I will treasure it always.  Happy New Year to you all!

Shimmering

Nutcracker ornament given to me by AB

Sock Monkey

Background stitch idea by Carolyn Baird.  Brilliant idea to stitch the green subway tiles like hospitals have.  I am in a mood to decorate.  That includes ornaments.

BIG ribbon
Pear from Heartstrings
I bought this at Amy's Golden Strand and stitched it using the guide it came with.  Time to tart it up...

A little check
I bought this ribbon at Carolyn Baird's ribbon store located in Chapparal in Houston, Texas.  So cute.

Filled in the bricks...

My brownstone row is back on the stand.  I filled in the bricks with two strands of green wool.  The color is actually a little darker than what is depicted here.  I love it.

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day.  I know I did.  I am planning on a little stitching this afternoon.  Wish that you do too!
