Melissa Shirley's Thanksgiving House Roof

Light green stripes on each side of the peak

First goes the ribbon in a counted pattern.  I cut the ribbon in long strips and ironed it before stitching.

Second step
After the ribbon is in, you come back and fill in the pattern with wool.  It looks so cool.  I will try to get a better picture in the sunlight tomorrow.

Overview
You can see where the light green stripes are in relation to the peak of the roof.  I am stitching this using a stitch guide created by Amy Bunger of Amy's Golden Strand in Memphis, TN.  It is available now.
