Why don't I have more Snowmen

Renaissance Snowman
I stitched this snowman from Renaissance a few years ago and I love him.  Why haven't I stitched more?  I wish I knew.  The stitch guide was from Renaissance with some tweaking from Lavonne Collins at A Good Point!.  Unfortunately, A Good Point!  closed a few years back.

  1. He is so cute. You have a beautiful collection of Christmas needlepoint . You have inspired me to work on some of the ornaments I have in my stash.

  2. Thanks, Linda. I have so many small things because when the kids were young I needed those canvases that could easily be stitched while waiting at all those endless events. These days I am stitching at home mostly on large landscapes or stockings. You will see some of this in the future. Are y'all planning on going to Amy's anytime in 2012?

  3. We are going to Amy' s in May and October. I watch Jake for my daughter who is a School Psychologist and it has really cut into my stitching time.

  4. Rats! I was hoping we would meet there. I am going in March. I am sure your grandson cuts in to your stitching time, but what an excuse! He's adorable.

  5. Karen and I are hoping to go to Needle Works so maybe we can meet then. We have no definite time yet but will let you know as soon as we do. Would really like to meet you.
I wish I was teeny tiny. Back to Jenny Craig for the New Year.

  6. Hey Steph,

Love the snowman and also wonder why I don't stitch more of them. They're such a happy winter symbol. I see you're working on Kelly's Creche. I am sooo far behind but enjoying it when I can.

  8. Mary Anne-I have finished the sky of the Creche except for a few beads. Have started the second lesson, but moving slowly. That is not a piece you can pick up and put in a few stitches while the rice is cooking!
