You can see that I started the ruffle down in the lower right hand corner.  I hope I can finish after dinner  tonight.  I love Betsy Ross.

  1. Stephanie, your needles must have smoke coming from them! You're going to beat me to the finish. My flag is done as of last night and I'm working on the borders, which I changed. Can we talk when we get to her hair? I tired the stitch guide directions, had some issues, and want to ask your opinion. Your Betsy looks amazing!!!

    1. Thanks! I started the flag, but think I am going to stop and move to the face. I don't want my hand moving over that white cotton once it is in. I am concerned about the hair. I can't do a twisted lazy daisy to save my life. I was thinking of padded satin like Amy did on her Akiko piece. What was you issue?

    1. Me, too! Thank you. I have spent all my free time on this girl. I am so enthralled with it that I am thinking of getting another Wild Woman for Christmas.

  3. I could do the lazy daisy, but wasn't sure how tightly to pull it. Do we want it loose or as tight as it could be, and do we want them going from the top of her hair to the bottom, or shorter? We may need a consultation with amy. I like the idea of "ringlets" but have to play around. Will try it tonight and report back!
