Thanks to my Daddy for giving me that perfect green stuff for my birthday. Today at The Needle Works I purchased this handsome fellow. Hopefully, I will receive more of these Nativity pieces from Heartstrings for Mother's Day.

| Cumberband |
I think needlepoint cumberbands are making a comeback. I remember when my daddy had one. My friend's twenty something son want her to stitch one for him. I think this one is very handsome. Would your man wear one?
My husband always wears cummerbunds with his tuxedo. River Silks has an awesome picture of a cummerbund that Paul, the owner's husband (now deceased) designed and stitched for himself.

My husband would not wear a needlepoint cumberband. I think maybe the next generation.

DeleteThat was great Steph. As for the cumberband: why for men only? There was a time women wore them too. I'd wear one, especilly if needlepointed
