A Decision Has Been Made

I accept the challenge to finish everything I have now before buying anything else.  Remember that says everything I have now.    Exceptions include gifts, what is already ordered, using my 20% off coupon from Amy's, and classes already scheduled.  That said, I had better get stitching!

What to work on first....

  1. Good for you! My husband says I need to do the same thing after finding my stash! Sometimes I spend more time looking at other canvases than stitching! I like the idea of finish two buy one. I better get going! I think I better take the challenge as well to save my marriage! Lol. I admire you. I would keep working on the Thanksgiving house for now!

  2. I wish you only but the best of luck! I should be like Linda and go through all of mine and make some Ebay sales. I know that I have pieces that I look at and say "what was I thinking". I will never stitch them.

Now my first vote for your finishing order is.......Your daughter's stocking!

    Have a great stitching week.

    1. I do. I feel uneasy with all this unstitched stuff around here. The joy of new stuff is overshadowed by what is undone. Oddly, I feel energized about the whole thing. If I could just get everyone back in school, I feel I could perform some Olympian stitching!

  4. I will be cheering for you! Hopefully some of your determination will rub off on me. Remember a while back when you counted all your canvases? Well that prompted me to do the same. I thought I had about 20 canvases. Wrong...I was still counting at 100. So I've put myself on the finish 2 = buy 1 rule. But really it should be finish 10 = buy 1. Anyways, I know you can accomplish your goal! Hope today is filled with lots of quality stitching.

  5. You can do this! I've set a goal to stitch at least an hour a day now. Of course once I begin stitching it stretches into 2 or 3 hours.
Sorry I missed Miss M. So excited she has begun to stitch. Perhaps she'll spread the enthusiasm through the Chi O Girls..........Sarah

    1. I go back and forth. Did you see the Challenge List on the blog? Seems to be more necessary by the minute!

    2. But Stephanie this could be years of stitching and no shopping. Sometimes you just have to shop.

  7. What about your trip to Amy's in October? Can you only work on the project you are bringing and not be tempted by all of the beautiful canvases she has? I couldn't
