Fuzzy overview on Sunday morning |

French knots instead of blue beads |
I gave up on the bead hunt and went with French knots using three strands of silk. I like the way it turned out.

Details on the sleeve |
I worked on this girl almost all day yesterday. All I had left to do was the black edging of her robe up by the collar. The Kreinik got a knot in it and I was defeated. I could not deal with the knot and the compensating. I put her down and picked up my basketweave pillow. I will finish her today and the next time you see her, she will be back from the finishers.
She's very cute and you finished her up quickly. I am impressed. Hurry and get her made up so we can admire her, ok?
ReplyDeleteAnything for you, Jane!
ReplyDeleteShe is darling. I can't wait to see her all finished. Stitch away, Steph. I'm in the garden today! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI wish I could say I was in the garden. I can say I am in the grass pulling weeds. So many came up after the rain. I will be stitching away tonight. Next weekend I will be at a tennis tournament. All major stitching for awhile will be over at bedtime tonight!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing how something as small as a knot can derail a project?
