Tapestry Tent Nativity Stocking

Across the top

Green Wiseman

Overview
I started this stocking several hundred years ago and am not finished yet!  When Amy Bunger used to travel, I sat with her at The Needle Works to get stitch ideas for this lovely.  Years later, I still had not finished it and a complete guide became available from Amy's.  I bought that and still didn't finish it.  The time is now.  This one is for me, so I am going to get after it.

  3. Hi Steph! This is the first time have seen this stocking up close. It is magnificent, and I'm sure your stitching will do it justice. Like you and Linda, I've made a commitment to stitch through some WIPs this year. I'm working on Caela Conn Tyler's Piazza San Marco now, which I started in class with her several years ago. It is counted on Congress cloth, with frequent color changes, so it is quite slow. But it is beautiful and rewarding.

Good luck with this stocking. Can't wait to see future progress posts!

    Happy Monday!
