Tapestry Tent Nativity Stocking

Gift from the Magi
Out of curiousity, I timed myself to complete this one section.  Four hours!  I was watching the Australian Open, but the match wasn't that exciting.  No wonder I never finish anything.  I am the slowest stitcher in the world.  Anyway, I love the way it turned out.  Canvas from The Needle Works and stitch guide from Amy Bunger.

  1. No, I am the slowest stitcher in the world and I have several friends how will attest to that! I wish I could speed up but I just do not know how to be quicker. I guess I just have to stitch longer! Good thing I love it! That section is beautiful, by the way!

  3. Steph, you're a fibber. We've seen plenty of evidence of finished projects here and at Stitcherie.

  4. You caught me. I am good at finishing little stuff, but not the big projects. Like this stocking, but I am still interested in it. For Lent, I have given up buying big projects. How is that for a sacrifice?
