Tapestry Tent Nativity Stocking

Beautiful greenery around the shepherd and his flock.
Toe of the Nativity Stocking
This is stitched with three shades of green all loaded up on needles at the same time.  I think I kept the pattern going in the right direction!

  2. Thank you, ladies! Amy really is fantastic. Have you seen the roof for the Thanksgiving House? I can't wait to get my hands on that.

  3. Hi Steph,
This stocking is going to be spectacular when it is finished. Amy is totally amazing with her choice is stitches and threads. I cannot wait for April to get the roof.

  5. I am also doing this stocking and love it. How are you doing the sheep so you can see one is in front of the other? Is it a question of color? French knots and bouillons??

    1. I am using Amy's stitch guide. It is all put up in a box for the moment. If I remember correctly, lighter thread of the sheep up front with colonial knots and darker thread on the back sheep with french knots. Those two things will hopefully create perspective. I hope to stitch it someday!
