The stitching around here is rather dull. Did the other side of the roof.

The bunnies are so awesome!!! On the back of the big girl bunny how did you get the flowers satin stitched so well?
ReplyDeleteI did not stitch that one, but I am sure she used a laying tool. I believe that is two layers of thread carefully laid. Looks good, doesn't it?
DeleteStephanie,
ReplyDeleteWould you find out more info on the little mini stocking with the bunny decorating for Christmas. I think it is picture #4. Second bunny ornament. Thank you
You have a great collection of bunnies. Don't you miss the MCM bunnies and angels? You have done a great job with the Melissa Shirley bunnies.
ReplyDeleteStephanie, Hello! I'm new to the blogging needlepoint world. Your bunnies are gorgeous! So much work and detail. How long have you been needlepointing? I am venturing outside the world of tent and basket weave stitches......trying to learn little by little. Any advice for learning new stitches? Classes or diagrams with trial and error?
ReplyDeleteWelcome, Shawn. I got in to decorative stitches when I moved here to Austin and went in to The Needle Works. Do you have a local needlepoint store?
DeleteHi, Stephanie. I have been to The Needle Works before they moved. I live in San Antonio and there is the Yarn Barn. I think they have a needlepoint instructor but not the classes centered around one project.
DeleteLove all the bunnies Steph. Your stitching is great but, you need to stop indicing me with all you goodies!
ReplyDeleteSeveral of those bunnies look familiar...possibly we've met. Love the next door cat...totally uninhibited creature.
