I didn't do it...but I did.

Ewe and Eye canvas

I didn't buy this from the trunk show.  Lest you be disappointed or think I gave up needlepoint, I will tell you that I bought two ornaments and a belt.  All three had to be ordered, so I will post them ASAP. I spent Saturday night stitching this green yard.  Amy recommended 3-4 strands.  I used four.  It looked fat and icky.  I took it all out and did three strands.  Much better.  I also started the barn using Presencia stranded cotton.  I love that stuff.

Birdies
Last, but not least, I did a birdie.  I had done one and left the thread hanging.  Tied it off, did the other one.  Friday night I used the Burmilana below to stitch on the belt below the burmilana.  Busy weekend so far.

    1. It is still here and needlepoint fairies have not been working on it while I sleep. Rats. I need to put it back in the rotation, but should I get way behind, I have an entire week here alone, very soon, to catch up. Doesn't that sound wonderful?

  4. Great to see you and M at the store. I would have never recognized her! Looks like you are stitching away. Will look forward to lunch when I return from SF.

  5. Great stitching. I have not used Burmilana on a belt before how many strands do you use. I used to use Paternayan and then switched over to Vineyard Merino which works great. I am always happy to hear about an alternative.

    1. It was recommended to use three. I thought it looked very thick, so I changed to two strands. I am happy with the coverage. If only I could get happy about doing hours of basketweave.
